Food and hospitality have always been a part of this place.
Modern visionaries and local residents Charlie Palmer and Christopher Hunsberger have embraced that essence of Healdsburg and are crafting a hotel that celebrates and shares it like no other.
We know this place so well, because it is our home.
Bringing a new definition to locally grown, Healdsburg-based Makr Hospitality operates and is one of the owners of the hotel and has called Healdsburg home since its founding.

As a connector of the Alexander Valley and Dry Creek AVAs and downtown Healdsburg, the hotel hosts authentic experiences, local-flavored restaurants, unparalleled gathering spaces and relaxing spa, pool and fitness facilities.
The hotel is a gateway between the happenings of The Plaza and the serene vistas of the vineyards. Bike trails and our house car provides connection to downtown Healdsburg without driving.

We have crafted spaces of all sizes, configurations and vibes around our hotel campus to make your gathering just as you imagined.

Whether it’s a small gathering to celebrate a birthday, a reunion of family and friends, or a ceremony to commence a newly wedded life together, we have the perfect place for your celebration. From agrarian outdoor spaces, intimate private dining rooms, and the hotel’s stunning Grange, groups of 10 – 250 people will feel at home here.
We’ve designed our event spaces to hold some of the largest weddings in wine country while making the bride and groom feel that everything was built just for them. Our wedding specialists take care of every detail while our chefs prepare a menu truly worthy of the occasion.
Indoor/Outdoor Living
The weather is a fundamental aspect of wine country. Warm days are followed with evenings of cool breezes coming from the Pacific coast. It’s what makes the vineyards so successful. It also creates a one-of-a-kind place where residents enjoy seamless indoor/outdoor living for most of the year.
To celebrate this, guest rooms feature generous balconies and public spaces all fully connect to outdoor spaces through retractable walls. Our chef’s table in the orchard hosts dinners under a canopy of stars and our event Grange opens fully on both sides and spills out onto event lawn for alfresco gatherings.

We’re gathering the very best of this iconic destination– nothing assumed, nothing generic to create a place where guests and locals feel they truly belong.
Healdsburg has always been a community of makers - winemakers, artisans, culinarians, farmers…it is rich with an innovative spirit.
We bring those local makers into our hotel to share their passion and their craft with guests and locals through hands-on, experiential learning programs.
Connected to Our Community
Healdsburg is our home. While we make community connection core to every one of our destinations, it’s something greater when we are in our own backyard. Our kids went to school here. We shop and work and play here. Our friends and family call this place home as well. We volunteer and support non-profits here.
We have designed the property to serve as a living room for our community of Healdsburg.
Our spa and fitness center invite local memberships as well as our luxury day use poolside cabanas. We are excited to host many engagements, intimate anniversary dinners, birthday celebrations, weddings, and charitable fundraisers for the people of our community.
